ICP Travel Grant Program

ICP is accepting applications for Travel Grants.

This grant program provides funding to defray the costs of attending the ICP conference April 3-5, 2025 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. We will fund approximately 10 grants, with a maximum award of 500 Euros per grant, and four grants of 250 Euros specifically targeted to Early Career Psychologists from non-English speaking countries.

The application deadline is December 1, 2024.  Applicants will be notified of award decisions within one month of the deadline. Funding will be provided directly to the applicant at the start of the conference.

Grant Criteria:

1. All ICP members  (full, associate, or student) are eligible to apply. Discover ICP members are not eligible for this grant program.
2. Applications will be evaluated on the degree to which the applicant’s activities and research demonstrate a strong commitment to issues of international psychology, human rights, and dignity, and aligns with the conference’s theme and presentations.
3. Priority will be given to applicants who meet any of the following criteria:
   1. Presenting a paper or poster at the conference as a first author or co-author.
   2. First time recipient
   3. From countries categorized as Economic Level B and C (see list of countries here)
   4. Substantial need of financial assistance to attend the conference.

How to Apply:

All applications must be completed online (form is below). Application materials include:

1. A statement as to how conference aligns with the applicant’s current and future research/activities (copy and paste into form; maximum 200 words)
2. An abstract of the applicant’s research that will be presented (maximum 300 words)
3. Detailed anticipated budget of travel related expenses (e.g., air travel, mileage, lodging, registration) and information on any other source of travel funding.
4. An abbreviated CV (maximum 3 pages), uploaded to the form in doc or (preferred) pdf.
