Dear ICP2021 Attendees!!

You are invited (and encouraged!) to upload a special “hello” greeting for ICP2021.

We are hoping that all attendees will add their 10-20 second greeting (name, where you are and a hello in your language!) that we will compile into a welcome video for the opening ceremony.

You can record your greeting on your phone or computer and upload it, or you can add your greeting directly online.
Please click here  “” for the platform for recording or uploading.

Tips – please record in HORIZONTAL mode!! If possible record yourself to show there you live or work! And enjoy the process!!

Please note – this system works best on Chrome or Firefox as your browser (you can upload your own video from any browser; but to record directly you should use Chrome or Firefox)

Message from the ICP President

Josephine Tan, ICP President

Welcome to ICP’s second virtual annual meeting on October 22-24, 2021.  While the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to get together from a distance, we know from our 2020 virtual conference that this venue can be enriching, productive, energizing, and even inspirational.

The virtual format allows colleagues and students from all global regions to participate with challenges of travel time and costs or high conference rates. We aspire to inclusiveness and accessibility!

The theme of ICP2021 is Psychology in Action: Promoting Equity and Justice in an Age of Uncertainty with a focus on four subthemes:  Health Equity, Climate Justice, Disabilities Justice, and Decolonizing Psychology.  Researchers, educators, practitioners, advocates, and activists around the world will come together to share and exchange knowledge, network and collaborate for the betterment of humankind and the future.

In addition to exceptional and engaging speakers for our plenary, symposium, and award lecture presentations, there will be opportunities to present your work in lightning talks or posters. There will also be opportunities to meet, interact and discuss in Networking Cafés and to socialize in Meet and Greets. We celebrate the work of students with prizes recognizing outstanding presentations, and celebrate together in a Human Rights event. And we will see updates and have discussion on ICP and its activities in the area of human rights, justice, and dignity.

We hope that you will join us.  Our dedicated and hard-working Planning & Organizing Committee looks forward to welcoming you

Join in a collective reading of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights!

As part of the ICP 2021 Virtual conference, we are holding a  human rights observation to celebrate and honor human rights around the world. Our theme this year is “displaced people groups.”
This programming will include a collective reading of the Declaration of Human Rights. We invite you to participate in this reading.
After you sign up to read one of the articles of the Declaration of Human Rights,, we will send you your text and ask you to tape yourself reading – in your most comfortable language, in a location of your choice. You will be asked to upload your tape so we can collate them together for our collective reading.
This is a great way to be engaged with ICP2021!!
