Welcome to ICP’s second virtual annual meeting on October 22-24, 2021. While the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to get together from a distance, we know from our 2020 virtual conference that this venue can be enriching, productive, energizing, and even inspirational. The virtual format allows colleagues and students from all global regions to participate with challenges of travel time and costs or high conference rates. We aspire to inclusiveness and accessibility!
The theme of ICP2021 is Psychology in Action: Promoting Equity and Justice in an Age of Uncertainty with a focus on four subthemes: Health Equity, Climate Justice, Disabilities Justice, and Decolonizing Psychology. Researchers, educators, practitioners, advocates, and activists around the world will come together to share and exchange knowledge, network and collaborate for the betterment of humankind and the future.
In addition to exceptional and engaging speakers for our plenary, symposium, and award lecture presentations, there will be opportunities to present your work in lightning talks or posters. There will also be opportunities to meet, interact and discuss in Networking Cafés and to socialize in Meet and Greets. We celebrate the work of students with prizes recognizing outstanding presentations, and celebrate together in a Human Rights event. And we will see updates and have discussion on ICP and its activities in the area of human rights, justice, and dignity.
We hope that you will join us. Our dedicated and hard-working Planning & Organizing Committee look forward to welcoming you
